Dear Liquidity Community,
As we stride further into this promising year, here is our newsletter Edition #17.
In this edition, we will cover technical and marketing updates from the last few weeks. Our team has been working on improving the NOCUST client, integrating client library swaps into TEX front-end, fixing bugs and improving our servers. Furthermore, we continue to attend more events to promote Liquidity Network and support the Ethereum Community. To this goal, we’ll be one of the sponsors for ETH London this year and also attending Ethereum Community Conference 3 in Paris. We are looking forward to meeting more of our community members during these events.
Technical Updates
NOCUST Client
In order to make the user experience better, we are planning to refactor the way to make challenges with the NOCUST client. The main goal is to abstract away all the complexity and keep a single method that will handle everything to ensure security. So far, we implemented the first type of challenges which is the “State update challenge.”
TEX
We are integrating the new version “V2” of the client library swaps into the TEX front-end. We are currently done with the initial setups, such as display of balances, wallet registrations, withdrawals and deposits. Our next plan is to start with in-depth testing to make sure everything is working properly. We are also planning to work on code cleanups for the TEX front-end.
NOCUST Server
For the NOCUST server, we added an optional search query parameter on the audit and transaction endpoints. This search query will allow you to fetch accounts and transactions given a substring. This is meant to improve your experience as a user for the Liquidity explorer. We also added more documentation to the NOCUST server repository and fixed bugs on the account admission end-point.
Events, Conferences and Community
Third Annual Delft Blockchain Symposium
The first event we attended this year was the Third Annual Delft Blockchain Symposium that took place at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, where Arthur gave the keynote speech on 30th January on “Maleficence in Traditional and Blockchain based Financial Exchanges”. The talk was received very enthusiastically by the attendees, who asked many intriguing questions during and after the talk.

ETH London
As part of our ongoing community support we are proud to plan to be one of the sponsors for ETH London, which will take place from 28 February to 1st March 2020 in London. If you are planning to attend ETH London, don’t forget to visit us at our booth. We will be waiting for you! You can find more details about the event here.
Ethereum Community Conference 3
We are also very excited to participate in the Ethereum Community Conference 3 this year. This will take place from 3rd to 5th March this year in the city of romance, Paris. You can find more details about the event here.

Liquidity Network
TEX
