Dear Liquidity Community,
As life is slowly but surely starting to go back to normal at many places worldwide, we hope that you are remaining resilient and optimistic. Throughout this time our team has been continuing to work on improvements and making good progress, albeit remotely.
Here are our technical and marketing updates for the past few weeks. We finished working on a new hub wallet recovery tool. We are taking further steps towards open-sourcing of the server and moving forward with our plan for more decentralisation. Technical update aside, we were super excited to roll out our community competition #5 and announced our awesome winners. The enthusiasm from our community members has been really encouraging for us. Finally, our interview with Samuel McCulloch at “The end of the Chain” podcast is waiting to be released, so watch this space!
Technical updates
NOCUST Server
On the back-end side, we revamped our internal alert system to better inform us whenever an issue arises from the servers.
We are currently working on reorganising our server code repositories. As we are moving closer towards the open-sourcing of the server, we want to make it easier for the community to deploy NOCUST hubs. Deployment scripts, smart-contract binaries and Dockerfiles are now all in the same repository.
We switched some of our services from using Infura as a main Ethereum RPC provider to our own Ethereum nodes. It is a small but key step on the decentralisation path.
NOCUST Client
We fixed the contract API on the client Library. Some smart-contract calls were not exactly sending the expected parameters on the challenge and recovery functions.
We discovered some issues related to state synchronization in the library V2 happening in some Edges cases. These are now fixed and the mobile app is currently not affected.
New Hub Recovery Tool
We created a new hub wallet recovery tool. This recovery tool offers a simple UI (User Interface) to initiate challenges and recover funds from a hub without the need of the mobile app. It’s now completed and working, you can check it out here. Let us know if you have any questions or improvement suggestions. We could for instance potentially offer this tool also as a downloadable standalone tool.
Mobile wallet
There was a new minor bug on the mobile app that affected conversions of ERC-20 tokens. For example, converting LQD to fLQD was not working in some particular edge cases. However, we fixed the bug and conversion is now working as expected.
For those that are performing withdrawals from fToken to Token, keep in mind that you need a minor balance of Ether to pay for the gas fees of the conversion.

Fifth Community Competition
We announced our community competition #5 from 9th April till 14th May on our blog. We received from our community members some impressively creative videos of how to use our products. It was such a pleasure and privilege for us to interact with our community in such an interesting and constructive way. 技术更新
NOCUST服务器
